〈Halloween〉的主線故事是農牧神樂團（FAUN）成員透過收集不同的物品對大自然進行獻祭，並在黃昏時分與三位女巫一起慶祝薩溫節（Samhain）－－一個被視為現代萬聖節起源的古老凱爾特節日。

　　為了在年末之時重獲新生，他們先向元素求援。在 MV 可見成員分成三組，Oliver 和 Stephan 拜訪戴著頭套的煉金術士，獲得三份魔法奄列（他們自己說 der）；Reudiger 和  Niel 在土堆裡找到一把鑲著寶石的匕首；Laura 和 Adaya 在樹林中找到草藥。他們帶著獻祭物品與女巫會合，點起篝火慶祝，最後請求角神協助他們在薩溫節重獲新生。

　　細看歌詞提及的各種薩溫節習俗，如﹕為亡者點燭、祝福先賢、驅除噩運、獻上元素、重獲新生，可見這首歌本身就是農牧神樂團舉行的薩溫節儀式。因此，在片尾的致謝名單之中，角神（the horned god）才單純以角神（the horned god）這個名字出現其中。我認為這位角神是凱爾特神話中掌管動物、豐產、狩獵與冥界的神祇科爾努諾斯（Cernunnos）。

　　樂團以歌稱頌祂，請求祂讓儀式得以順利進行，就像當代的新異教徒一樣。
